We believe that investing in programs promoting eco-friendly practices is good for the planet and our communities. That’s why we developed an iMBEJU Nishati Safi initiative under a broader iMBEJU program to help people learn about the latest climate-smart cooking techniques, irrigation systems, and ways to keep our country safe from deforestation and environmental degradation.
About iMbeju Nishati Safi
Imbeju Nishati Safi aims to empower 1.1 million rural and peri-urban women and youth startups in Tanzania, aligning strategically with the CRDB Bank Foundation’s strategic objectives of fostering social economic development through innovation, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion, focusing specifically on clean cooking solutions to address the clean cooking challenge, encourage private sector investment, and promote socio-economic development.
It addresses significant health risks, gender disparity, climate change, and environmental degradation issues associated with traditional cooking methods.
