CRDB Bank Foundation and The ICT Commission Support Tanzanian Start-ups to Shine at the African Startup Conference 2023

The partnership between the CRDB Bank Foundation and the ICT Commission has supported participation of six innovative start-ups at the African Startup Conference 2023, organized by the Algerian Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises.

This participation aims to propel technological excellence in Africa by providing selected start-ups with a platform to showcase their innovations, gain exposure, attract ventures and connect with industry leaders.

The initiative reflects a dedication to nurturing entrepreneurship and fostering a culture of innovation on the continent.

The conference, featuring diverse industries and valuable networking opportunities, is poised to have a lasting impact on the growth and development of African start-ups, and directly contributing to the advancement of the startup ecosystem in Tanzania.

CRDB Bank Foundation collaborates with the ICT Commission in empowering youth startups in the country through the IMBEJU program, which provides training, mentorship, and seed capital. This year, the program has reached 709 startups.
