The CRDB Bank Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sokoine University Graduate Entrepreneurship Cooperative (SUGECO) to enable graduates of the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) to successfully train abroad.

The CRDB Bank Foundation has allocated an amount of 24 million Euros, equal to 67 billion shillings, for this program, which will be provided within three years of this partnership with SUGECO.

The CRDB Bank Foundation expects to provide capital between 3,500 US dollars (8.7 million shillings) and 4,500 dollars (11.29 million shillings) to more than 2,500 graduates.

The CRDB Bank Foundation, SUGECO, and USAID have prepared a special program to empower the graduates when they return to the country, where a special area has been prepared to enable them to invest in modern and productive agriculture.

The CRDB Bank Foundation has planned to provide seed capital and entrepreneurship training in the second phase of empowerment.

CRDB Bank Foundation, through its IMBEJU program, has been at the forefront of youth empowerment through training, mentoring, and seed capital.

This empowerment has been done through our competitive program, which has been implemented in collaboration with the government through the National Science and Technology Commission (COSTECH) and the IT Commission (ICTC).

Along with empowerment through competitive programs, the CRDB Bank Foundation has been doing empowerment in collaboration with various partners, with one of the priority areas being the empowerment of youth engaged in agriculture.
